Shortly, I shall be baking a cake. I’ll plant a single candle in the creamy exterior and with one hard blow I will joyfully celebrate the anniversary of this, my first year in this wild and wonderful place. As I sit alone by candlelight in my limp cardboard box, surrounded by those I serve (the cat and the dog), I will look back fondly on the many moments of beautiful madness which have made the past year so brilliantly unforgettable.

This is the perfect occasion to say thank you. Thank you to MasterOfAll for building and maintaining a world in which we may find some happiness and companionship. Thank you to the Masters and the Doms, and to the subs, slaves and pups, thank you to all who have made this occasionally lonely world a little brighter, a little sweeter, a little richer.

As I blow out my candle and watch the dog steal my cupcake, I’ll look forward to another year of airdrops and pillories, targets and spins, to middle-fingered Masters and dungeon dwelling subs. Here’s to endless “Hello’s and Goodbyes” in the Lazy Lounge, and to gym memberships, biceps, sneakers and socks, to tantrums, tiaras, coffees and cocks. Here’s to you all.
