I think that joining a stable is something that should happen after a good connection is made. I see a lot of new members join a stable almost immediately and then get overwhelmed and leave the site. The stable allows the Dom to see tip balance and read messages and for a sub can provide security... Or mean that other Doms will no longer approach. That works when there is a good connection but can be used as a tool for manipulation too.
